On the last week of Sept., I got the chance to go to the beautiful island of Aruba. From the moment I found out I was going I was overjoyed. As I got off the airplane, everything I dreamed of came true.

There are so many things to do there, so you are never bored. For instance, you can swim in the Caribbean, walk the beach, or lay in the sun to get a good tan. The ocean is gorgeous. The sunsets are picture perfect. You won’t see the same one twice, and they go down fast.

Snorkeling at Baby Beach is a lot of fun. There are so many fish to see; they have all different colors, and there are other things to see besides fish in the water. At other parts of the island, there are coves; you can see octopus, eels, and sea snakes. You don’t have to worry about sharks, though, because they feed them on the other side of the island.

Although there are a lot of great and wonderful things about Aruba, there are a few down sides. For instance, the country is very poor, so there are some areas that are not cleaned up very well. If it wasn’t for tourists, there wouldn’t be an Aruba, the economy is so bad. It is also very hot in Aruba. You want to wear lots of sun block, because the sun is right over you, and it hits every inch of your body, and you don’t want to burn.

The best thing about Aruba is that no one knows you, and unless you go back, you will probably never see those people again. So you don’t have to be afraid to try new things.
