GREENE – About 30 children ages 3 to 14 participated in an Easter Egg Hunt Sunday at The Meadows.

A total of 800 Easter eggs were harvested by the children. An additional 200 toys and 300 balloons were distributed. A luncheon with the residents followed.

Winners in each category were: Lawrence Pooley, most eggs, age 7 to 14; J.T. Sirois, most pink eggs, age 7 to 14; Charles and Thomas Bowman, most eggs, age 6 and under; and Jacob Dupuis, most pink eggs, age 6 and under.

The Easter Bunny was present to oversee the egg hunt and Becky Laliberte, owner of The Meadows, promised to have her back next year for the second annual Easter Easter Egg Hunt.
