• July 25 – A gross sexual assault complaint was filed. Detective Lt. Wayne Gallant, who is investigating, declined to release details on the open case.

• July 25 – A traffic sign was found bent over on Bridge Street in the traffic circle.

• July 24 – A Waldo Street resident complained that a mail collection box had been tipped over. There were no damages.

• July 22 – A Holyoke Avenue resident reported damage to the front end of her parked vehicle.

• July 20, 3:50 p.m. – An Oxford Avenue resident reported that someone had slashed a tire on her car sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning. Damages were estimated at $50.

• July 10 – A Rumford resident reported that someone had committed forgery on her Social Security check. Investigating Detective Sgt. Stacy Carter said the resident filed a late report on something that happened at the beginning of the year.

• July 10 – A gross sexual assault complaint was filed. Detective Carter declined to release details about the open case.

Arrests

All of the following are to be arraigned on Sept. 7 in Rumford District Court:

• Corey B. Fortier, 22, of South Portland, on a charge of operating under the influence, on July 25. He was released on $500 unsecured bail.

• Timothy L. Gotto, 44, of Rumford, on a charge of violation of a protection-from-abuse order, on July 24. He was taken to Oxford County Jail in South Paris.

• John C. Harlow, 38, of Mexico, on a charge of disorderly conduct, on July 23. He was released on $200 unsecured bail.

• Angela Brown, 19, of Rumford, on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol, on July 21. She was released on $200 unsecured bail.

• Mark P. Barrett, 38, of Rumford, on charges of operating after suspension (habitual offender status), and improper display of registration, on July 20. He was released on $500 unsecured bail.

Summonses

All of the following are to be arraigned on Sept. 7 in Rumford District Court:

• Harry Hamner, 35, of Rumford, on a charge of violation of conditions of release, on July 23.

• Marc Chartier Jr., 26, of Andover, on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana, on July 10.

• Joseph Turner, 22, of Mexico, on a charge of theft, on July 24. He is to be arraigned on Sept. 7 in Rumford District Court.
