PARIS – Lloyd “Skip” Herrick has announced he is running for the Board of Selectmen.
“I am running for the position of selectman for the town of Paris because I have come to see and understand that some very important issues the town is facing, now and in the future, are being handled in a way that could be very damaging,” Herrick said in a statement.
“Also, in some cases, these issues are being handled in a very unprofessional way. I will do my very best to represent all of the people of the town and not just a certain few,” he said.
Herrick, 55, is an Oxford County native and lives in Paris with his wife, Deborah. He served as Oxford County sheriff from 1991 to 2006, and also served 10 years as the Paris police chief.
