BUCKFIELD – Fire of undetermined origin destroyed an older model trailer Tuesday afternoon at 117 Streaked Mountain Road in Buckfield, Fire Chief Steven Bly said late Tuesday night.
The 14- by 70-foot trailer, owned by Skip Douglas, was insured. There were no injuries.
Buckfield firefighters and mutual aid departments from Hebron, Sumner and Turner responded to the 2:30 p.m. structure fire, quickly knocking it down, By said.
By 7:30 p.m., a State Fire Marshal investigator ruled the cause undetermined, Bly said, but “it was most likely electrical.”
The fire started in the living room.
