OTISFIELD – Sheriff’s officials on Monday were investigating the death of a 34-year-old man found dead Friday at a home at North Tamworth Road.

Oxford County Sheriff’s Capt. James Miclon said police are awaiting results of an autopsy, expected to completed this week.

The name of the man and his home address was not released.

Early Friday night, police were called to the home by someone who reported the man was unconscious, Miclon said. When a sheriff’s corporal arrived, the man was dead inside the home.

“Nothing stood out as suspicious other than his age,” Miclon said. “There was no visible cause of death.”

The man had no known health problems, Miclon said.

His body was taken to the Maine Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta.
