WATERFORD – The Waterford Congregational Church will host Angel Luis Rivera-Agosto and Joan Arelis Figueroa-Rivera, missionaries from Global Ministries, the joint overseas ministries program of the United Church of Christ and the Disciples of Christ.

Rivera-Agosto and Figueroa-Rivera, originally from Puerto Rico, were based in Ecuador during their four years of church service but traveled throughout Latin America, working on various projects sponsored by the Latin America Council of Churches.

The pair will attend a potluck supper at the Wilkins Community House next to the church on Plummer Hill Road in Waterford Village at 6 p.m. Friday, June 18, and will present a program about their work at 7 p.m., also at the Wilkins House.
