A Westford, Mass., resident reported that someone broke into a van and stole a backpack at 8 p.m. May 29.
A tractor-trailer rig and a car collided on Route 2 near the transfer station at 3:21 p.m. May 27. There were no injuries, but a 1991 Chevrolet sedan, driven by Peter Gordon, 25, of Bethel, sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage; a 2004 Western Star six-axle, tractor-trailer, driven by Edmund E. Edmundson, 43, of Gorham, N.H., sustained an estimated $500 in damage.
A Gould Academy student reported a simple assault case after being struck in the leg “with some type of blow dart” at 9:20 p.m. May 20. The injury “wasn’t bad,” but he wanted it reported.
