WEST SUMNER – The First Universalist Church will hold its annual parish meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 20, in the church vestry. The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers for the coming year and any other business.

PTA to host sale

OTISFIELD – The Otisfield Parent Teacher Association is looking for donations for its annual Memorial Weekend Yard Sale.

If anyone has items to donate for the sale, they may be dropped off from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, May 25 and 27, and from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the Otisfield Community Hall.

Other arrangements can be made by calling Ellen at 539-4397 or Sue at 539-4127.

The sale will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 29, and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, May 30, at the hall, rain or shine. Everything must go.

Military tribute

OXFORD – A military tribute will be presented for all veterans and those serving in the armed forces at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, upstairs at the Oxford Grange Hall, Route 26. Members of the V.F.W., American Legion, their auxiliary members and spouses of troops serving are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Relay For Life

PARIS – The American Cancer Society of southern Oxford County will hold its Relay For Life Friday and Saturday, May 21 and 22, at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School’s Don Gouin Athletic Complex. On Friday, two activities will be open to the public. A cancer survivor recognition will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 21. There is no cost; and a luminaria ceremony will be held at 10 p.m. For more information, call the ACS at 373-3704.
