Volunteers will meet with employers to learn more about their businesses, needs and concerns.

NORWAY – Norway Downtown Revitalization is conducting a market analysis of the Main Street commercial district by collecting information on buildings, businesses and consumer opinions.

Volunteers have been interviewing Norway shoppers and visitors over the past few months, and will soon start to meet with employers in the Main Street revitalization district to learn more about their businesses, needs and concerns.

Anne Campbell, director of Downtown Revitalization, said the project will provide information that will help update Norway’s strategic plan for Main Street, originally published in 1995.

She said it will also help Norway Downtown Revitalization to design programs aimed at strengthening existing businesses and attracting new ones, and to develop marketing strategies to attract visitors.
