SUMNER – Clifford S. McNeil, chair of the Sumner Republican Committee, announced that Republicans will caucus at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Sumner Town Office.

The main purpose of the biennial caucus is to allow registered GOP voters to elect delegates and alternates to the Republican State Convention. The convention this year will be held at the Augusta Civic Center on May 14 and 15.

Other business of the caucus will include the organization of the local committee and the nomination of members to the Oxford County Republican Committee.
