PARIS – A 17-year-old male was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol after police responded to a party on Paris Hill early Wednesday morning.

Officers arrived at the scene of the party at 12:30 a.m., Paris Police Sgt. Michael Daily said Thursday.

At least one Paris Police Department officer and two Norway Police Department officers responded, he said.

The officers were at the scene until 3 a.m.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be identified because he is a minor, was issued a court summons and released into his mother’s custody, Daily said.
