WATERFORD – State Sen. Bruce Bryant has scheduled a series of campaign planning meetings throughout Senate District 14 in collaboration with candidates for the House of Representatives. There will be a regional meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, at the Waterford Town Office hosted by Lynn Baker. Residents of Waterford, Lovell, Sweden, Stoneham and Albany Township are welcome to attend. House candidates Roy Gedat of Norway, Tim Carter of Bethel and Margaret Reimer of Bridgton will also be present.
Jazz band concert
PARIS – A concert featuring the Bellamy Jazz Band will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Moore Park, Park Street, Route 26, South Paris. Concert-goers are advised to bring a chair, blanket and a picnic meal to the free event. The concert is sponsored by the Paris Parks and Recreation Committee and is part of the annual Concert in the Park series.
