A Norway couple escaped serious injury Tuesday afternoon when their car struck a parked van on Main Street in Norway. The car, operated by Roger Alphonse, 74, was heading south when it crossed the center line and struck a parked van owned by Michelle Wells, 27, of Oxford, according to police Sgt. James Ventresca. Lorraine Alphonse, 71, was a passenger in the Alphonse car. Damage to both vehicles according to Ventresca, was between $2,500 and $3,000.
