May 5, 12:09 a.m. – Carey Foster, 47, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Lawrence Winson for operating without a license. Foster is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

May 5, 12:22 a.m. – Joshua Bernard, 25, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a warrant for failure to pay fines for disorderly conduct. Bernard posted $300 cash bail and was released. Court date unknown.

May 5, 5 p.m. – Linda Bisson, 53, of Peru received a summons from Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with a charge of operating after suspension. Bisson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

May 7, 10:17 a.m. – Angela White, 31, of Rumford received a summons from Patrolman K. Scott Mills with a charge of furnishing illegal drug. White is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in South Paris on Aug. 13.

May 8, 12:43 a.m. – Kyle Richard, 18, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Lawrence Winson with assault and refusing to submit to arrest and received a summons with a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Richard posted $100 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 7.

May 8, 2:27 p.m. – Russell Nixon, 22, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with domestic violence assault and receive a summons on a charge of illegal attachment of plates. Nixon posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

May 8, 3:02 p.m. – Chad Warren, 25, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Donald Miller on a warrant from Biddeford for domestic violence terrorizing. Warren posted $200 cash bail and was released. Court date unknown.

May 9, 5 p.m. – David Cherkis, 40, of Bethel was charged by Patrolman Donald Miller and Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with possession of a illegal drugs and violation conditions of release. Cherkis is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 7.

Assault

May 9, 10:45 p.m. – A Rumford male reported being assaulted but chose not to press charges.

Burglary

May 4, 8:47 a.m. – A Pine Street resident reported someone broke into their home and did approximately $3,550 in damage and stole $1,150 in cash and jewelry. Incident under investigation.

Criminal mischief

May 4, 5:44 a.m. – Mountain Valley High School official reported damage by insulation and degreaser. No damage amount listed. Incident under investigation.

May 7, 9:18 p.m. – Maine Avenue resident reported someone cut her tires while it was parked on Rumford Avenue. Damage listed at $60. Incident under investigation.

May 8, 3 p.m. – Erchles Street resident reported someone threw feces on her vehicle. She was able to clean the vehicle with no damage. Incident under investigation.

May 9, 11:42 a.m. – Red Hill Road property owner reported someone drove a vehicle on their property and did damage. Juvenile was located and will repair the damage.

Theft

May 9, 12:01 p.m. – Prospect Avenue business reported theft of services after a subject failed to pay for his room and phone calls prior to leaving. Charges are pending unless payment is made.

Wanted

Joshua Hussey, 31, of Mexico is wanted on a Superior Court warrant for operating after suspension (habitual offender).
