RUMFORD – The following incidents were handled by the Rumford Police Department.

Arrests

• Andrea Gaudet, 37, Mexico, operating after suspension, March 24 on Prospect Avenue. She was released on $200 unsecured bail for arraignment at 8:30 a.m. June 2 in Rumford District Court.

• Alex Helms, 21, Bethel, warrant charging failure to appear on charge of failing to report a crash, turned himself in at the police station at 11:51 a.m. March 18 on River Street. He was released on $100 cash bail for arraignment at 8:30 a.m. June 2 in Rumford District Court.

Incidents

• An investigation is continuing into the theft of cash, a camera and two jackets totaling $1,400 from a car parked at Mountain Valley High School on March 15. The crime was reported that day at 11:04 p.m. by a Rangeley resident. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Officer Lawrence Winson at 364-4551.
