Incident report statistics: Between Dec. 29, 2008 at 12 a.m. and Jan. 5, 2009, at 12 a.m., patrol officers responded to 67 complaints. These are complaints that require an officer for service. Basic traffic stops are not given a complaint number.

Arrests/summonses:

On Dec. 29, 9:07 p.m., Deborah Gates, 52, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Higley for violation conditions of release. Gates was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On Jan. 1, 1:35 a.m., Peter Macgregor, 19, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Belanger for operating a motor vehicle under the influence during OUI saturation patrol. Thurston was able to post $1,000 unsecured bail and was released

On Jan. 1, 3:12 a.m., Niklaus Justard, 19, of Rumford was summonsed by Ptl. Miller for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

On Jan. 3, 12:30 a.m., Lisa Buck, 38, of Mexico was arrested by Ptl. Miller for violation of bail and criminal trespass. Buck was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On Jan. 4, 1:18 p.m., Shelley Elliot, 29, of Rumford, who was featured in last week’s River Valley Most Wanted, was arrested by Sgt. Higley for an outstanding warrant for failure to pay fines for failure to disperse. Blanchard was able to post $125 cash bail and was released.

On Jan. 4, 1:38 p.m., David Cherkis, 40, of Greenwood was summonsed by Ptl. Cramer for theft after stealing items from a River Valley Crossing business.

Assault:

On Dec. 29, 10:31 a.m., Maine Avenue resident reported being assaulted by another female. Victim refused to press charges.

Criminal mischief:

On Dec. 29, 10:13 a.m., Essex Avenue business reported an estimated $50 damage to the latch and lock to the gate of the property.

Theft:

On Dec. 31, 6:15 a.m., received information from Farmington Police Department of a theft of $675 from a local bank over the past year. Incident under investigation.

On Jan. 1, 10 p.m., Congress Street reporting theft of $20 out of his wallet.

On Jan. 4, 5:52 p.m., Waldo Street reporting theft of 16 homemade music compact discs valued at $10 stolen out of her residence.

Warrants:

Lexine Graham, 27, of Rumford is wanted on a warrant for disorderly conduct and failure to disperse.
