MEXICO – Windows in homes only a few hundred feet apart were smashed early Monday morning by vandals.
Police Sgt. Roy Hodsdon said the first incident was reported at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 4 by a Roxbury Road resident. Three windows in the front of the house valued at $600 were destroyed by a pellet gun or by foot.
A second incident was reported by a resident of Meadow Street, just off Roxbury Road, a couple of hours later. Four windows valued at about $800 were broken.
Hodsdon said the two incidents are related. The case is under investigation.
