• Vans driven by Andrew Mullin, 43, of Bristol and Briceson G. Henny, 36, of Nobleboro collided at 3:47 p.m. Dec. 15 on Main Street. The 2000 GMC van driven by Mullin sustained $3,500 damage. The 2003 GMC van driven by Henny sustained $1,000 damage. Both vehicles were carrying students from Lincoln Academy in Newcastle. None were injured.

• Vehicles driven by Dany N. Anctil, 41, of Auburn Road, Peru, and Michael L. Marston, 54, of Backkingdom Road, Mexico, collided at 11:04 a.m. Dec. 10 on Backkingdom Road. Anctil’s 2006 pickup truck sustained $1,500 damage. Marston’s 2000 Subaru wagon sustained $2,000 damage.

Theft

• A 1993 blue Ford pickup was reported stolen from a parking lot on Roxbury Road at 5:28 a.m. Dec. 24. The vehicle had been involved in an accident on East Andover Road the night before.

• An attempted theft was reported at 5:45 a.m. Dec. 23 by a Roxbury Road resident who had parked his vehicle in the parking lot owned by Dick’s Restaurant on Main Street.A juvenile was seen fleeing from the scene. Nothing was stolen.

Burglary

• A Holman Avenue resident reported an attempted burglary at 3:08 a.m. Dec. 22. The suspect did not gain entrance.

Vandalism

• A Swett Avenue resident reported Dec. 21 that the tires on his pickup truck were slashed sometime during the previous night, causing nearly $200 damage.
