A vehicle driven by Mark E. Gaudet, 41, Alder Street, Mexico, left the roadway and traveled down an embankment, coming to rest against a tree at 7:45 p.m. on March 28 on Alder Street. Gaudet’s 1994 Ford SUV sustained $5,000 damage.
Arrest
Timothy Turner, no age available, of Granite Street, Mexico, on two warrants issued by the Rumford Police Department for failure to appear on aggravated assault and criminal mischief charges, at 4:45 p.m., March 30, on Brown Street. He was unable to meet $1,000 cash bail and was transported to Oxford County jail.
Incident
Prescriptions for vicodin, a pain reliever, and clonopin, an antidepressant, were taken from a home on Main Street Monday morning. The prescriptions had just been refilled. Sgt. Roy Hodsdon said there was no sign of forced entry into the home.
