PERU – A public hearing on a state-built boat launch on Worthley Pond will be held Aug. 9, selectmen announced Monday.
The hearing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Peru Town Office. It will address the state Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s proposal for constructing a site on its land on East Shore Road. The department has sketches and plans of the boat launch.
The public is invited to the hearing to view the plans, ask questions and express concerns.
