RUMFORD – There will be an open house Saturday for the race department at Black Mountain. The program is for ages 7 to 18 years and will be from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $10. The price includes the lift ticket and if you join a race program this season the $10 cost will go toward the program fee.

Christmas dinner

RUMFORD – Rumford SeniorsPlus will have a Christmas dinner Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Senior Center, 50 Congress St. There will be entertainment at 11 a.m., with dinner served at 11:30 a.m. Menu will include roast pork with gravy, stuffing, whipped potatoes, winter squash, cranapple sauce, dinner roll, holiday cake, punch, and choice of coffee, tea or milk. A donation of $3.50 is requested of those 60 and over, their spouses, disabled and volunteers; and $5 for those under 60. People may make reservations by calling Kim at 364-3572.
