DIXFIELD – Town Manager Nanci Allard updated selectmen at Monday night’s public hearing about progress toward applying for a Community Development Block Grant to improve the municipal water system.
Allard said she had secured funding of up to $800,000 from the state’s revolving loan program to be used toward the $500,000 grant’s required town match, should Dixfield win the grant.
The grant application is due to be submitted and received by Friday, Dec. 10.
Nothing came of the brief hearing except the update, Allard said.
