DIXFIELD – The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the Dirigo High School gym, 99 Weld St. To be eligible, donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good health. DIXFIELD – A Pampered Chef Bingo will be held Sunday, May 16, at American Legion Post 100 to benefit the American Cancer Society. Doors open at 1 p.m. Games begin at 2. Tickets are available by contacting Kathy Walker at 597-2560 or [email protected]. They cost $20 per person, which includes 20 games and two blackout games. Extra tickets will be available. Prizes are Pampered Chef gift certificates. Raffle tickets will be available and there will be food concessions. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
