Something that has been on my mind lately is about sex, drugs ‘n rock and roll, yea, yeah-hoo, all-right.
Yea, right. All it did was raise a bunch of idiots, myself included. People were too blind, or just didn’t care, or didn’t have the initiative to care about what was going on in this country. We just trusted someone else would take care of things for us.
Look where we are now, a country being lead by people with no morals. People who could care less if their neighbors or so-called friends starve or go without heat or medication.
So what can we do about it now, man?
I don’t know. But what I do know is we can’t do what we have been doing, and that is nothing. I don’t know about everybody else, but I feel as if I have to start writing. Writing hopefully, to someone who will listen. My problem is: who?
Would it be someone elected to office? I don’t trust that.
I think I’ll write to my grandchildren and tell them I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I didn’t care enough to do something before it was too late. I’m sorry that they are going to have to pay back the billions of dollars that we sat back and watched our government hand out to their friends while we did nothing. I really, really feel sorry for the next couple of generations in this country.
Sex, drugs and rock’n roll, yeah-hoo. Yea, right.
