FARMINGTON – Two Eustis men and one from Benedicta arrested on violations of bail conditions Monday were arraigned in Franklin County District Court on Wednesday.
Paul Ford, 24, and Nicholas Sants, 25, both of Eustis, and Logan Duffy-Stanley, 23, of Benedicta, were all arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana. Ford was also charged with furnishing marijuana, and Sants with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Steven Lowell and Cpl. Stephen Charles allegedly found the three smoking marijuana at a Eustis Ridge Road residence about 2 p.m. Monday. The officers also said they found an ounce of marijuana there. The three had been charged the previous day with cultivation of marijuana. Sants was charged with possessing several ounces of psilocybin mushrooms.
With Judge John Beliveau presiding at the court session, the defendants all pleaded not guilty. They posted $100 cash bail each and were released later Wednesday. They are scheduled to appear in court in March.
