FARMINGTON FALLS – The new window in the northeast side of the steeple of the Farmington Falls Union Baptist Church will be dedicated in memory of E. Marguerite Mason during the worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5.

Soup and Sing’

SALEM – The Salem United Methodist Church on Route 142 will host a “Soup and Sing” Christmas caroling event from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at the church. The mid-day meal will include a selection of soups served buffet-style with rolls, pickles, desserts and beverages. All proceeds will benefit the church’s building fund. The public is invited to attend, and monetary donations are accepted and appreciated. A project to restore the bell tower and steeple is slated for May 2005.

Monday Club

FARMINGTON – The Monday Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at the Pierce House, next to Farmington Post Office. After a brief business meeting the members, joined by the Pierce House residents, will celebrate Christmas with music provided by the Mt. Blue Syncopations. Refreshments will be served. Hostesses are Nikki Adams, chair, and Pat Durham, Irene Carnie, Minta Williams and Dory Dickman.
