Community breakfast

WILTON – Gil Reed, president of Nichols Development Corp., will be the speaker at the monthly Wilton Community Forum Breakfast Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the First Congregational Church on Main Street. His topic is Economic Future of Wilton. Nichols Development is the new owner of the former Bass complex on the Weld Road. Reed will report on progress in making this complex home to new businesses and describe his plans to attract new enterprises to Wilton. A breakfast buffet will be provided. Admission is free. The public is invited.

Conservation meeting

FARMINGTON – Franklin County Soil & Water Conservation District board will meet from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the USDA Service Center at 107 Park St. This meeting is open to the public. For more information phone Gail Dolan at 778-4279.

Charity Rebekah Lodge

LIVERMORE – Charity Rebekah Lodge of Livermore Falls will meet Wednesday, Nov. 10, at their hall at 284 Federal Road with the recently installed officers in the chairs. A 12:30 p.m. luncheon will precede the meeting. Unfinished business, including annual reports of the secretary, treasurer, trustees and auditing (finance) committee will be given at the regular meeting starting at 1:30 p.m.

Wreath-laying Nov. 11

FARMINGTON – Edwards Philbrick Auxiliary, Veterans of World War I No. 2689, will lay a wreath at the arch on Fairbanks Road on Veterans Day at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. The American Legion Colors and Guards will be present. Other colors are welcome.
