Tax cap talk

WILTON – Town Manager Peter Nielsen will give a talk titled “Effects of a Proposed Tax Cap: A Fresh Look” at the Wilton Community Forum Breakfast from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, in the First Congregational Church, 386 Main St. A buffet breakfast will be provided. Admission is free; donations will be accepted. The public is welcome.

Board meeting

FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its monthly board meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at the U.S. Department of Agriculture Service Center, 107 Park St. The meeting is open to the public. Supergroup’ band

FARMINGTON – The Pete Kilpatrick Supergroup Band will play at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Olsen Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington. It is free and open to the public.

FARMINGTON – Kevin Salonen will play acoustic music at 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Olsen Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington. The concert is free and open to the public.
