FARMINGTON – The second bi-annual Conservation Expo, coordinated and run by the Franklin County Soil & Water Conservation District, will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at the University of Maine at Farmington.
More than 50 class sessions have been scheduled at various times throughout the day.
Commissioner Robert Spear and Natural Resources Conservation Service’s state conservationist Joyce Swartzendruber will be at the Expo from 11 a.m. to noon to meet with individuals during the presentation of the Franklin County Soil Survey books.
For more information or to register for the Expo, phone 778-4279 or stop by the office at 107 Park St. between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Registration, at $35 each, will also be accepted at the door and includes as many classes as one wishes to attend and a buffet luncheon.
