WILTON – Police turned three Wilton boys over to their parents after they allegedly entered the burned Big Apple store.

The boys age 15, 12 and 9 took some cigarettes and other items, including a couple of sodas and some little things, Police Chief Jim Parker said.

The Big Apple burned late last Monday.

The fire is believed to have started in the store room but the cause is still undetermined, said state fire investigator Dan Roy.

He still has a couple more interviews to conduct.

The store room section of the building was taken down last week and the main part of the building was being removed Monday.
