LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen will consider discontinuing three roads when they meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Town Office.

Two of these are driveways now, according to Town Manager Alan Gove, and the third is along the edge of Route 17, in front of the Nolette and Webster properties.

The driveways are Pasture Lane, (150 yards) leading to the Jacqueline Trafton home off Route 133, and the Hoisington driveway, which currently is being plowed by the town.

The road between the Trafton driveway and across to Route 106, the Hoisington driveway, has been discontinued.

The board also plans to discuss winter road operations, sign the animal shelter contract for the new year and make an appointment to the SAD 36 Board of Directors to run until June.

That would fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Russell Flagg.

Gove also has told the board that he needs a new computer for his office as his present one is no longer reliable.
