STRATTON – A teenage boy has been summoned after he allegedly groped two women in the same house last month.

On Dec. 28, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department Corporal Stephen Charles received a complaint that a Stratton boy had entered a home and assaulted the woman who lived there, grabbing at her and inappropriately touching her.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal trespassing, a Class C felony, and after spending a week at a juvenile detention facility, released back to his parent under house arrest.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Department Detective David St. Laurent said that after more investigation, police later learned the boy allegedly had touched a second woman that night who lived in the house, also against her will.

On Monday, St. Laurent questioned the boy then summoned him on a charge of misdemeanor unlawful sexual contact.

St. Laurent said it appears the boy was consuming alcohol when he grabbed the two women.

The juvenile will appear in court on both charges Feb. 11.
