LIVERMORE FALLS – The Planning Board will welcome a new member, Stephen Deschesne, when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the town office.
Board members will also consider three site plan reviews for new businesses. The first is by Elaine Smith for the Book Nook at 95 Main St. She will be selling newspapers, new and used magazines and books.
Pamela Sue Cook is applying for a review of “Country Comfort” in the former doctor’s office on Main Street. She plans to use both floors of the house, offering ladies clothing and lingerie on the first floor with quilts, quilting classes and supplies on the second.
Daniel St. Pierre is planning to open “The Trading Post,” a pawn shop, at 4 Depot St. in the Paradis block, and will be handling a variety of items including tools, jewelry, movies, games, collectibles and sporting goods.
Following action on the applications, the board will continue work on items for the annual town meeting in June.
