WILTON – Western Maine Pastoral Care Services will host a service of celebration and sorrow at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at First Congregational Church UCC.

All are welcome.

“Holidays can be difficult times for some persons, especially those who have suffered a loss and are grieving,” said the Rev. Alan Shumway, president of the WMPCS board. “This service is for those persons who need a special time during the holiday to remember and celebrate with others while they also honor their grief process,” Shumway continued.

The service is held annually hosted by a different faith community each year. It includes readings, music and the decoration of a tree with ornaments in memory of loved ones.
