A trial run to check the feasibility of proposed bus stops along Pine and Ash streets will be conducted this morning by Police Capt. Joseph H. Farrand and Hudson Bus Co. Supervisor Robert Pelletier.
The pair will use a bus in making the investigation. Under the new traffic system to be put into operation, Ash Street will be one-way toward the business district and Pine Street will be one-way moving away from it.
The proposed bus zones also will be studied to see whether these can physically handle a bus. Farrand added that he will be working with the fire department this afternoon in the study of truck routes and fire lanes.
