Dear Sun Spots: We are renewing our vows, and we are doing a 1950s theme as part of that celebration. I am looking for a pair of saddle shoes, black-and-white, size 9 to 9 ½ wide. If anyone has a pair that they would be willing to give away or sell for a reasonable amount I would really appreciate it. I really hope that I can find a pair. I may be reached at 225-2531. – Shirley DiMambro, Turner.

Answer:
First of all congratulations to your and your husband! What a wonderful achievement.

In addition to responses from readers, Sun Spots wonders if you’ve considered checking out eBay to see if anyone has any listed on there? Sun Spots did locate several pairs online at that site, although not in the colors and sizes you were hoping for. You might consider checking it out though as well as awaiting any readers who may have a pair on hand.

Also, you might contact Drapeau’s Costumes of Maine, 20 Main St., Lisbon Falls, ME 04252, to see if they might have a pair to rent. You can reach them at 353-2216 or via their Web site at www.costumesofmaine.com. They are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dear Sun Spots: You haven’t failed me yet, so I hope you can help me again.

Last year, around Christmas time, a movie was shown on TV. I hoped it would be played again this year but no luck. The movie is “Christmas on Division Street,” starring Fred Savage. I looked to get that movie on eBay and elsewhere at the mall but have had no luck in finding it. Would anyone out there have a copy that they would be willing to sell for a reasonable price? Or, might someone know where I might be able to locate a copy of this. If so, I may be reached at 782-8314. Thank you. – P.T., Lewiston

Answer:
In addition to responses from readers, Sun Spots located it online at www.amazon.co.uk. It is out of stock on the USA site but you might consider keeping an eye out for its return there. In the meantime, the movie also appears to be listed for sale on www.sendit.com, also an English Web site.
