FAYETTE – A public hearing will be held Thursday to discuss a proposed $1.3 million net 2003-04 spending package for town, school and county operations.
The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. at Starling Hall on Route 17.
The proposed town budget, minus an unknown amount of revenues, is $365,357.00, an increase of $2,704.75 or a 0.75 percent increase, over the current year.
The school budget, minus an unknown amount of revenues, is proposed at $868,796.37, a $18,651.77 increase, or 2.20 percent, over the current year.
Fayette’s share of the Kennebec County tax is up $12,872, or 16.10 percent, to $92,633 this year.
