JAY – Police arrested three men in separate incidents in connection with domestic assaults Sunday and Monday.

Just after midnight Monday, officer Fred Lowell responded to an ongoing domestic verbal dispute on Chickadee Avenue, Chief Larry White Sr. said.

When the “young lady” went to call police, White said, the “gentleman” pulled the phone out.

Mark Webster, 35, of Jay was charged with obstruction of reporting a crime, White said. He was released Monday from Franklin County jail on $2,000 unsecured bail. He has a court date of April 17.

In a second domestic complaint Sunday, Cpl. Jeffrey Fournier charged Jason Dumeny, 27, of Jay with domestic assault, White said.

An unidentified woman went to see her child on East Jay Road and was allegedly assaulted by Dumeny, White said. The woman reported the incident at 9:13 a.m. Dumeny was released from jail on $5,000 unsecured bail Sunday. His court date is May 17. Bail conditions include no contact with the victim, White said.

Fournier also arrested Christopher Breton, 27, at his home on Macomber Hill Road in Jay, in a third domestic case.

A female called police, White said, and reported Breton assaulted her at a Ludden Drive home. Breton had left the residence and was arrested at his home, White said. Breton was released from jail Sunday on $3,000 unsecured bail. His court date is April 17.
