Dear Sun Spots: We currently have two sewing machines that we would like to donate to a group or organization that is in need of one. We have one that is portable and one that is in a cabinet. Both are in good working order. Please call Ron Blake at Cote’s Sewing and Fabric Center to arrange pick up. We are located next to Big Lots in the Auburn Plaza.
We occasionally get sewing machines donated from our customers. We service them and donate them to needy groups. If you are in need of one, please call us at 782-5922 or e-mail us at [email protected] and we will add you to our waiting list. You must be a non-profit group. Thank you Sun Spots for your continued service to our community. – Ron Blake, Auburn.
Dear Sun Spots: I’m looking for anyone who may have some scraps of latch hook yarn for making rugs to finish a project I am working on. I cannot find the yarn to buy separately. If anyone has any, please call me at 333-2725 or 333-2726. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.
Dear Sun Spots: Would you please be able to locate a dentist for me who had a practice on Minot Avenue in Auburn in 2000? I do not remember her full name but her last name was LeBlanc. She regularly placed an advertisement in the Sun Journal. There was also a gentleman named Michael who made dentures. Any information on these two people would be greatly appreciated. – No Name, No Town.
