MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – The New Hampshire Marine Patrol says the body of a Manchester man has been found in the Piscataquog River.

Rescue crews responded to a report at about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a missing swimmer in the area of the Electric Street launch in Manchester.

The Marine Patrol says divers found 30-year-old Jose Portillo at about 2:15 p.m. The body was found about 105 feet from shore in 12 to 15 feet of water. The water temperature was about 60 degrees with little to no current.

The patrol is investigating the death.
