STOWE, Vt. (AP) – Police are investigating the death of a foreign worker who drowned in a pool at an inn where he worked.
The body of Joseph Nti Buabeng of Ghana was found in the pool at the Gables Inn by the inn’s owner on Thursday night.
Police say an autopsy is being performed.
Buabeng, 20, had been in Vermont for about a month on a work exchange program.
Inn owner Randy Stern says Buabeng did various jobs, including landscaping and cleaning the pool and was not on duty when he drowned.
