PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – Postal officials and the Social Security Administration are trying to figure out what happened to dozens of Social Security checks that didn’t arrive in Portsmouth this week.

At least 60 checks destined for the 03801 ZIP code were not delivered.

Some checks were found Wednesday night at a processing plant in Maine, but officials began getting calls from Thursday and realized more were missing.
