LONDONDERRY, N.H. (AP) – It took two vote counts and two rolls of the die to come up with the winner in a Town Council.

Initially, Councilor Brian Farmer was declared the winner over challenger Mary Wing Soares on a roll of the die after the Town Meeting Day vote was a tie, at 1,020 votes each.

Soares requested a recount, which also came up tied, at 1,022. So Town Clerk Meg Seymour rolled the die again Tuesday night, and Farmer won again.
