ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Police have charged an 11-year-old boy with squirting another youngster with lighter fluid and trying to set him on fire.

Capt. Scott Dumas said they aren’t sure what prompted the incident. Police said it happened last Thursday when a 12-year-old boy was walking home from a friend’s house. They say the 11-year-old approached him, squirted him with lighter fluid and tried to ignite it with a lighter. The older boy knocked the lighter away and ran home.
