CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Police say a man who stole cash from a pizza deliveryman didn’t get far, thanks to his victim – who trailed the man in his car as he called to report the crime.

The accused thief, 22-year-old Joshua Cameron, was ordered held on $110,000 bail and was scheduled for a court hearing on the case Thursday.

Police say the robbery victim was in his car after making a delivery downtown when Cameron approached with a gun and demanded money.

They say the deliveryman handed over $380 then followed the thief in his car, then on foot, all while reporting the crime to police. The deliveryman even described the scene to police as he watched the thief hide behind a building to count the cash.

Cameron was arrested when he ran from police and tripped on a granite wall near the Statehouse. The weapon turned out to be a pellet gun.
