CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire is moving closer to upping the ante on its instant lottery tickets.
The state Senate has given initial approval to a bill to allow the lottery commission to sell instant tickets for as much as $30 each.
State lottery officials requested authorization for the higher-priced tickets, but said they have no immediate plans to introduce a $25 or $30 scratch ticket. The state already has a $20 ticket.
