Craft fair

ANDOVER — A craft fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Andover Fire Department. Santa will arrive at 1 p.m.

Class luncheon

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday,
Dec. 10, at the Far East Restaurant, for their monthly
meeting.

Christmas party

RUMFORD — The Snowshoe Club will hold an adult Christmas party on
Saturday, Dec. 12. A social hour will be from 5 to 6 p.m. with a roast
pork supper at 6 p.m. Music will be provided by the Impacts band from 7
to 11 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the bar for $8 for members and $9 for
guests. 

DOI party

RUMFORD — St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, will have a
Christmas party at noon Sunday, Dec. 13, at Brian’s Bistro. There will
be hors d’ouvres. The price for the complete dinner will be $22.50. The
choices will be baked haddock, prime rib or chicken Parmesan.

Committee members are Marie Boudreau, chairwoman; Rita Thorne;
Deborah Laurinaitis; Doris Bourret; Sharon Rickard; Noella Cayer;
Dorothy Cayer; and Kelly Beauchesne.

Toy distribution

PERU — The Families in Crisis Task Force will have their annual
Christmas toy distribution from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Peru Baptist Church, Main Street. The program is for
grandparents and parents, including absent parents, that are in need
because of low income or other crisis situations.

The group can only give to
the same child once. Turkeys and hams
will be given while supplies last. For more information, call 357-7072.

Teen dance

CANTON — A
Christmas dance for teenagers will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Old
Canton Municipal Building. All teenagers 12 years old and up are welcome.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is $2. The event will benefit The Old Canton School

DIXFIELD — The Stephens High School Class of 1943 will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Front

RUMFORD — The meat pie supper at the Rumford Elks Lodge scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 10, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 16.
