LEWISTON – Police on Friday were investigating a break-in at the Vineyard Church on Foss Road in which computer equipment, a guitar and other items were stolen.

Police said the culprits broke down a door to gain entry to the building and then caused other damage as the church was ransacked.

It was believed the burglary occurred overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.

By Friday night, no arrests had been made. Church officials were not available for comment about the break-in and the amount of damage and lost items were not known.

Police asked that anyone with information about the burglary call them at 513-3139.
