Traditional Albanian and French Canadian folk music, ethnic food, poetry readings by the Lewiston Middle School Civil Rights Team and presentations by the author and photographer of the book “New Mainers: Portraits of Our Immigrant Neighbors” were all part of the standing-room-only event. “We need to celebrate diversity,” said Lewiston Mayor Larry Gilbert.
